LANGYARNS JAWOLL is the Rolls Royce of sock yarns. The wool comes from the Corriedale sheep. For JAWOLL we only use the best origins from Chilean Patagonia. During the sheep shearing process, the finest parts of the wool fleece are sorted out. The average thickness, i.e. the average fiber diameter, is only 25 microns (1 micron = 1/1000 millimeter). This makes the wool feel very soft and very comfortable to wear. The Corriedale sheep live in the wild nature of Patagonia all year round. Due to the lean diet, their wool remains white and has an average length of 10 cm. This makes it easy to dye, the colors are brilliant and the finished yarn is very resistant to pilling. Each 50g ball contains a spool of yarn to reinforce the heel and toe. This extends the life of your socks.
